Skate Jam 2022
This mural was installed at Westlake Skate Park for the Skate Jam competition. My concept was a bright, poppy illustration of a cluster of reptiles, making for a super colorful addition to the skate park. The site was located right on the side of a bowl, posing a challenge in terms of using a ladder to complete this painting. The finished painting measured approximately 14 feet by 10 feet, with a slight taper towards the bottom.

Due to the challenging angle of the walls, I ended up painting the top portion of
this mural laying on my stomach from above, and then worked my way towards
the bottom of the painting to avoid stepping on the finished artwork.
