This mural was commissioned by the Downtown Development Authority, with Grand Junction GIS Department aiding in the final selection of artwork. My concept features a large big horn sheep in a mountain meadow, with another classic Colorado symbol, columbines sprouting around the scene. Painted in a children's storybook style, this 4.5 foot by 9 foot painting was installed at an event space on Main Street in October 2021, brightening up the space for shoppers and diners passing by.
